Introduction
This is a guide to replace the RAM memory card(s) from an ACER Aspire V5 laptop.

Completely power off the device before removing the ram.

Turn the device to display the back cover and remove the two Phillips #0 screws.

With the screws removed, utilize a jimmy tool to prime open the back cover. Once the cover has been lifted, remove it and set it aside.

With two fingers push the laches holding the DIMM to the sides.

The DIMM will tilt up once released from the slot.

Firmly secure the DIMM and remove it.

Insert replacement DIMM into the slot

Once inserted, push the DIMM down gently until it snaps into place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order with new RAM cards.
