These are some common tools used to work on this device. You might not need every tool for every procedure.
When it appeared, the MX Ergo was the most ergonomically similar option for those used to the Logitech TrackMan Wheel of the early 2000s. The price was (still is in 2022) on the upper range, but it offers precision + wireless operation, and sports a durable, rechargeable battery.
Logitech has released two different versions of this trackball. The MX ERGO (910-005177) and the MX ERGO PLUS (910-005178). The Plus version comes with an extra wedge which allows the trackball angle to be modified.
