Background and Identification
When contemplating repairs, care must be taken not to confuse the K5 Note, a.k.a. Vibe K5 Note, with other similarly-named (but physically different) models such as the Vibe K5 or Vibe K5 Plus. Check the model number printed on the lower rear case.
Though the K5 Note's battery is not considered user-replaceable, it can in fact be swapped out using basic electronics repair tools.
