Background

CPAP devices function to provide continual and substantial air pressure to help someone breathe while they are sleeping, and typically the device has the motor, the hose that connects the motor to the mask that covers the nose and mouth. The motor will take in air and pressurize it according to the needs of the user. The air typically remains room temperature and some machines have a water tank to add moisture to the air being pressurized and avoid drying out the user's respiratory system.
