Way of the Mageseeker (5e Subclass)

You are from an old-fashioned ferun monastery that does not approve of the use of magic, you are one of the most elite students of that temple and you think that magic can be used against people who use magic, so your motto is to disable all magic users who poison Ferun. by their own magic.

Chakra Points

When you reach level 3 your unarmed attacks reduce the victim's spellcasting ability by 1 each time the attack does damage, when the opponent's spellcasting ability decreases to 0, he becomes unconscious until a long rest, if the opponent does not have spellcasting ability, then your attacks reduce his wisdom but when he then gets to 0 he is stunned 1 round instead of being unconscious, and then their wisdom goes back to normal. As you can see chakra points inside the opponent, you can analyze his movement and get valiuable information on his capabilitis and abilities.

Book of Stealing

Also on level 3 you are able to steal someones feature/trait, class ability or a spell.

spell stealing

When you see someone casting a spell, you can write that spell in your "book of stealing" as an action, using the magic-like ink that appears on tip of your finger at your will. When you write the spell, the first damage you do to the spells caster has 1d6 more radiant/necrotic damage that is stealing the spells origins from his memory and puting them into your book of stealing, after that, spell stealing ritual is completed. When the spell is stolen, you can use 1ki and cast a spell as a bonus action or reaction, depending on the spell, after casting stolen spell, spell erases from your book of stealing and you cant use it anymore(u can steal same spell multiple times). When a spell is stolen, the first caster of the spell cannot cast that spell until it is erased from the book, it is erased from his memory the moment its stolen.

-Spellcasting ability for stolen spells is Wisdom.

feature stealing

You can steal a feature too, but u can have only 1 stolen FTCA at the time, you can use feature unlimited amount of times. You can eraze feature from your book of stealing at will. When the feature is stolen, true owner of that feature cant use it. FCA is stolen the same way as spell. you need to see it, to write it down in your book as an action, and to hit the user with unarmed attack with bonus 1d6 radiant/necrotic damage. After that, you can use a feature at your will unlimited amount of time. Stolen feature cant change your body parts or body size, and you cant steal racial feats that are not of your own race.

-You can write an unlimited number of spells in the book, but only 1 feature.

Order of actions to steal a feature or a spell:

1. You see that spell is being cast, or a feature being used.
2. You write down what you see (1 action).
3. You need to sucssesfully deal damage to your enemy with your unarmed attack, gaining on a first damage die 1d6 radiant/necrotic (damage depending on the current state of the brain(DM deciedes))
4. After completing first 3 actions the creature that got robbed cant use stolen feature/trait, class ability or a spell until its erazed from the book, or if book is destroyed.
5. You can use ur feature on your will, but you need to hold a book of stealing in your off-hand to do so.
6. You need to spend 1ki to cast a spell. You can cast any spell u stole no matter what level of the spell is.

-You can skip 3rd part if you use bonus action to release 1ki from your body throwing ,visible only to you, harmless punch to your target, your target that is no more then 20feet away from you has to succeed on a wisdom saving throw or his feature or spell is stolen. On a successfull save nothing happens.Only creatures on a alert can role for a wisdom save, non-hostile creatures cant sense nothing, only a hole in a memory where their feature or a spell was. In other words, they dont role for wisdom save, they fail on a default.

Mind Overcharge

Starting at level 6 after a lot of uses of book of stealing, you learn how to strenghten your spells by releasing 1 ki to cast stolen spell with a spell slot 1 level higher then what spell needs to be cast. Aswell you expand your knowladge about book of stealing itself, and now it can contain 2 features, and not only 1.

Full focus

When u reach level 11 as monk, you learn how to focus your ki into the tip of your fingers and when you start a turn you can decide to use 2ki to double all the damage from your unarmed attacks for 1 turn

Ultimate discharge

When you hit level 17 as monk, you can focus gathered magic power into one attack using 3ki, as an action you can gather power from any number of features or spells stolen, and can release all at once as one 60feet cone of energy. You can select as many spells and features from your book of stealing and use them all at once unleashing 1d10 necrotic/radiant damage for every feature or spell used in a 60feet cone.
