Talk:Monster Tamer (3.5e Class)

It has my approval, but is there a possibility for focusing on a particular type of monster? Say, a monster tamer can become an Abberation tamer, or a Dragon tamer, etc? Thier are type & subtype Specializations. Other than that I don't see any. I can't edit the class as I didn't make it. I only moved it here. Its like OGL except made by a common person compared to WoTC.--Milo High-Hill 00:45, 29 December 2010 (MST)

I'm a guest, a n00b (as in, I have yet to even play this system for various reasons) and a die-hard fan of creature taming/training genred games. I was just wondering, Why only the one empty Prison? Most other such gaming entities start you of with at least 3? Also, Could not a Ranger be a good way to multiclass this character with it's Favored Enemy trick? P.S. I LOVE this character type! I questioned a friend about it, and he said that there wasn't any template or demand for it (Whatever!). Unfortunately, I had to move away before he could properly help me learn the rules and so, I have been unable to do this for myself. So thank you SOO much!
