Spellcasting Affinity

Prerequisites: The ability to cast at least one spell
You have become adept at casting particular spells, so they take on additional effects. When you gain this feat, choose one of the following damage types: acid, cold, fire, force, lightning, necrotic, poison, radiant, or thunder. You can select this feat multiple times. Each time you do so, you must choose a different damage type.

When you damage a target with the chosen damage type using a spell of 1st level or higher, an additional effect applies:

Damage Type Additional Effect
AcidThe target takes a -2 penalty to its AC until the start of your next turn.
ColdThe target's speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn.
FireThe target is set ablaze and takes 1d6 fire damage.
ForceThe target is pushed back up to 5 feet.
LightningThe target can't take reactions until the start of its next turn.
NecroticThe target takes 1d4 necrotic damage and can't regain hit points until the end of your next turn.
PoisonThe target is poisoned until the start of your next turn.
RadiantThe target is blinded until the start of your next turn.
ThunderThe target is deafened until the start of your next turn.
