Variant Overwhelming Magic
Prerequisites: Spellcasting or Pact Magic feature, spellcasting ability of 18 or higher
Increase your spellcasting ability modifier by 1
If a target of your spells fails their saving throw by 5 or more, increase the amount of damage they take by 2 times your spellcasting ability score modifier.
