Noble, Variant

This is for nobles who want to stick to a more historical noble or just a different option for a noble background.

Skill Proficiencies: Persuasion and History.

Tool Proficiencies: one musical instrument or one artisan tool and One type of gaming set or Weapon Cleaning Kit

Languages: One of your choice.

Equipment: A set of fine clothes, a piece of jewelry with your family sigil, one artisan tool or musical instrument, the deed to a keep or compound, and a pouch containing 30 gp.

Feature: Lands and Followers

You own a compound or keep and rule over the citizens and when in your lands you can get board and food for free and many of the shop keeps and traders will charge you next to nothing. You also have one or two humanoids that follow you because they admire your grace and power.

Variant Feature: Position and Privilege

Thanks to your noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of you. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are. The common folk make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to.
