Monk Class Features
All monks share these class features.
Unarmed Combat Master: After examining a weapon you learn to maneuver your body to imitate it in combat. When you are unarmed, you may choose to make attacks with the weapon keyword as if you were wielding a weapon that you have proficiency with and possess.
One man flank: Due to your years in combat training you have learned how to manipulate the thoughts of your enemies as you are fighting, making him believe he is flanked, when he is not. Whenever you are adjacent to an enemy who is in a corner, that enemy is considered to be flanked.
Trip: Whenever you make a successful opportunity attack, you may choose to have the target end its movement there.
Fighting Stances: At the beginning of each encounter choose a stance. You may change stances as a minor action.
| Fighting Stances | Defense Bonus | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|
| Stance of the Sturdy Ox | +1 Fort | You cannot be flanked. If you are subjected to forced movement, that amount is reduced by 1 square. When you bull rush, you deal an additional 1[W] + strength modifier damage |
| Stance of the Jade Serpent | +1 Will | +1 to saving throws. You may shift 1 space after attacking with a melee attack as a free action once per round |
| Stance of the Quick Tiger | +1 Ref | +1 to speed while charging or running. A bonus to AC against opportunity attacks equal to your wisdom modifier. |
Spinning Crane Kick: You gain the Spinning Crane Kick exploit.
