Atronarch (5e Class)
Atronarch
How they began has all but been lost to time. They are strange creatures the Atronarchs, parasites that they are. Oh do you know not of what I speak? Then relax, they're not vampires or leaches if that's what your thinking. No they hunger some thing far worse then blood and something both much more rare and much harder to obtain. Magic. You heard right. They consume magic just like you or I would food or drink. Might need it just as bad as air or worse for all folk like use know. Soldiers the lot of them though, leaders of armies, powerful martial warriors only just weaker then fighters and powerful spell casters to boot. Hear their mad dependent though let them loose on an enemy and they will bring an empire to its knees in time no problem. That said they can't survive on their own for more they a day or two from what I hear and are next to socially inept. Though I suppose that a walking death machine doesn't need social skills. Only ones i haven't heard of as soldier are mad hunters looking for monsters and battle or those creepy abomination looking ones. Atronarchs are many things but with one of those in town at least nothing short of a tarrasque will dare attack. ha Hell even if one did my money is on the Atronarch.
Creating a Atronarch
How did you become an Atronarch? were you a soldier that discovered their affinity for magic? or perhaps a wizard that gained the need for a more martial skill set? Perhaps worst of all maybe you were once an innocent that came across pure magic most raw or and eldritch thing most horrible and found that the energy had wormed its way into you and turned you into an atronarch by force and you have found you love the taste of power in its truest rawest form?
