Release information
This card was included in the English Dark Explorers expansion, first released in the Japanese Dark Rush expansion, with artwork by 5ban Graphics. A Cracked Ice Holofoil version of this card was included in the Shadows Theme Deck. It was later reprinted in Japan as part of the Master Deck Build Box EX, released on September 14, 2012. It was reprinted again with different artwork by match in the English Legendary Treasures expansion, originating from the Japanese EX Battle Boost. An exclusive Cosmos Holofoil version of the Legendary Treasures print of this card was included in the Furious Fists Single Pack Blisters, and a Non Holofoil version was included in the Battle Arena Decks: Mewtwo vs. Darkrai.

Origin
Dark Rush's Japanese name is that of Shadow Rush, a move in Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Black. The ruins of N's Castle are featured in the Legendary Treasures illustration.
