This event ran from September 30 to October 16, 2021. This event is focused on Team Rocket. The "Sygna Suit Misty Spotlight Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Misty and Vaporeon during the duration of the event and the "Sygna Suit Erika Spotlight Scout" gave players an increased chance of recruiting Sygna Suit Erika and Leafeon beginning October 1.

All sync pairs with the Kanto theme skill received increased bonus to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk and Sp. Def stats when used for this event.

Battles rewarded players with Event Voucher V, which could be redeemed in the Shop. Additionally, Daily Extreme Battle could only be challenged once per day.

This event featured the Battle Challenge, where players were challenged to defeat a team of strong opponents. Players could complete event missions by clearing these areas with teams using various theme skills, earning Medals and other rewards.
