Ultimate Pokémon Network

The Ultimate Pokémon Network, more commonly known as UPN or UPNetwork, is an English-Language Pokémon fan-site. It was established circa 2002 as a successor site to the original UPN, or Universal Pokémon Network, which was disbanded in April 2001 by then-webmaster Jason Axelrod. During the heyday of Pokémon in the late 1990s and early 2000s, UPN housed an extremely active fan community. It was hosted for a number of years on the Bulbagarden servers. Since setting out on its own however, it has since witnessed a decline in user activity like most other websites of its era. In April 2011, the site was integrated to allow forum posts to act as news posts, allowing visitors immediate access to the latest forum posts.
