Trivia
- In the Generation I games, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, and Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!, there is a quiz question in the Cinnabar Gym that asks if TM28 contains TombstonerRBY or TombstonyFRLGPE. In the original Japanese releases, the move is called しねしねこうせん, which can translate into a silly expression such as "Die-Die Beam" or "DIE! Beam". This Japanese name is a pun on Hyper Beam's Japanese name, はかいこうせん Destruction Beam.
- Along with TM21 and TM43, this is one of the only TMs unobtainable in both Colosseum and XD outside of trades.
