The animation begins underwater with bubbles rising to the surface and an Alomomola and Magikarp swim across the screen from opposite directions. The scene glows and changes to the Best Wishes! 2 logo rising out of the water. The logo then moves up the screen and the words "Decolora Adventure" and "Da!" are added onto the logo. The scene changes to show clouds, which part to reveal a sun that shines on a ship where Ash, Iris, Cilan, Pikachu and Iris's are. The camera zooms into the gang and then quickly changes to the water surface as the ship races along. The scene changes to a birds-eye view of a town and the camera moves down to a bed of sunflowers. A Sunflora appears and turns around to face the camera. Then the scene changes to Pikachu and Ash jumping over puddles, followed by Iris, Axew, Cilan and Cilan's as they run. The scene then shows a field of grass filled with Caterpie, Metapod, Dunsparce and flying Butterfree and Combee. Next, it shows the ship at a distance as the sun falls in the horizon, and then shows a closer shot of Porter, Watchog and Purrloin on the ship, as Altaria, Swablu and Swanna fly next to the ship. The scene changes to a Basculin submarine and then to the Team Rocket trio inside as they paddle along. The screen turns red, which alarms Team Rocket, and their mecha rises up to the surface. As Team Rocket appear, they realize the boat is being held by a Zoroark and Team Rocket flees in fright. The scene then changes to a montage of various people and Pokémon, first showing Chili and Chili's, then Cress and Cress's, then Alexa, Gogoat and Helioptile, then Clair and her Shiny Druddigon. A red lightning flashes across the scene and reveals Nurse Joy from both the past generations (with Chansey) and from the current series (with Audino). A blue lightning flashes and reveals Officer Jenny from both the past generations (with Growlithe) and from the current series (with Herdier). The scene changes to some mountains at night and a shooting star falls across the screen. Dusknoir, Banette, Gengar and Beheeyem suddenly jump into the screen, and a Jirachi spirals diagonally across the screen. The scene changes to Ash and the gang coming to a cliff edge, and the camera quickly cuts to the view of the water and islands and then rises to the sun. A Mewtwo quickly flies into the sun, and the scene changes to show Delia ad Mimey watering and cleaning the garden at her house. Delia looks up and the scene changes to Professor Oak and Tracey sketching a drowsing Bulbasaur with a Rotom floating above. The camera then moves up to the sun and quickly cuts to a close up of Ash as Pikachu jumps on his shoulder. Ash and Pikachu then laugh and the scene changes to a still picture of Ash, Pikachu, Iris, Axew, Cilan, Pansage, Clair, Alexa, Gogoat, Helioptile, Professor Oak and Porter.
