Trivia

  • Route 230 bears numerous similarities to Route 130 in Hoenn: both routes have numbers that end in 30, they are both east-west sea routes with no north or south exits, and both contain an island with grass, stairs, and a place to plant Berries. This island is also the only place to encounter a certain baby Pokémon in the wild (Wynaut on Route 130, Togepi on Route 230). However, in Route 130's case, Mirage Island isn't always there.
  • Route 230 is the highest-numbered route in the Pokémon games so far.
