This card was released as one of the SWSH Black Star Promos, available in the Sword & Shield Figure Collection released May 1, 2020. In Japan, this card was given to customers at participating 7-Eleven stores who purchased a copy of Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield between November 15, 2019 and January 15, 2020 as an early purchase incentive. Customers purchasing Pokémon Sword and Shield Double Packs during the same period were given two copies of this card.
