Kain
Kain (Japanese: ケイン Cane) is a character of the day who appeared in Going for a Spinda!.

He became Claire's fiancé after the pair met in a flower field. Kain is a Pokémon adventurer who travels the world in search of rare Pokémon. As a result, he had to leave, but he left his Spinda in Claire's care as a sign of his devotion to her.
Kain eventually returned and reunited with Claire at the place where they first met after Spinda ran away. He attempted to battle Team Rocket, but Spinda's Hypnosis was reflected back at it and it was subsequently captured. Thanks to Brock's Pokémon, Team Rocket was defeated and Spinda was returned to him and Claire.

| This heart-shaped Spinda is originally Kain's Pokémon, though he shares it with Claire who refers to it as her lucky charm.
