Release information

This card was included in the Rebel Clash expansion with artwork by Shin Nagasawa, first released in the Japanese Rebellion Crash expansion. A SWSH Black Star Promo print with different artwork by Hitoshi Ariga was one of the possible Rebel Clash Prerelease cards available in the Rebel Clash Build & Battle Box. A variation of this print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was also distributed to approved locations in the Prerelease Program, despite the cancellation of the 2020 Championship Series due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This print was subsequently available in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset. A new print with artwork by Shigenori Negishi featuring the Shiny version of Flapple included in the Shining Fates expansion, which also saw release in the Japanese Shiny Star V subset. The Rebel Clash print was reprinted in the Japanese VMAX Climax subset alongside a Full Art Secret print with artwork by Misaki Hashimoto.
