2005-06 Modified format (TCG)
The 2005-06 Modified format of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (informally called HL-on and now referred to as Standard format) was a former Standard format used for Play! Pokémon organized play and in most sanctioned tournaments worldwide from September 2005 to August 2006.

The 2005-06 Modified format was announced on ..., rotating out EX Ruby & Sapphire, EX Sandstorm, EX Dragon, and EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua. Sanctioned play periods varied slightly due to different release schedules in various regions.
